The Hunter High parking lot

Have you ever noticed how long it takes to get into the parking lot at hunter high, then find a place to park. Sometimes finding a parking spot can be so difficult. Especially on a day that it’s snowing, or a day after it has snowed. Some of hunters students have started to park wherever they please.

There could be many reasons why. Maybe they could just show up late and not have enough time to drive around and find a parking spot before they have to be in class. Maybe it’s because they are too lazy to go find a parking spot. Maybe they just don’t want to park somewhere that isn’t close to the doors because they don’t want to have to walk far. Or maybe they couldn’t find a parking spot.

Hunter high has two pretty big parking lots. I’m not sure how many spots there really are to park in, but i am sure that there is almost always a place to park. Whether it’s close to the doors or not. If you want a close parking spot, get to the school earlier.

On days like today where there is snow on the roads, and in the parking lot. I get it can be harder to get to the school earlier, or even find a spot. When the parking spots have snow on them, it’s hard to find a spot without being afraid the spot isn’t big enough because you can’t see the lines.

I think that first thing in the mornings, the people who put the salt on the ice and/or the people who plow should be out cleaning off those spots so the students can have less issues parking in the snow. Especially for the newbies who just got their license. They aren’t experienced yet, so they might have more issues than others.
